Hey congrats and many happy miles :)

I was advised to let the car idle for 30sec to 1 min after driving it and before switching it off, especially after a "spirited driving session"
My approach is to rather cool down on the drive a few km's before reaching my destination instead of cool down at idle. Depending on where you live, you probably standing idle a while getting past your entrance gate, boom, then garage.

Agree with this 💯

I was at BMW Montana yesterday and a Brooklyn Grey just got delivered. It looks great in the flesh, for some reason pics can’t capture it in the same way imo.

It was still in the truck so I didn’t take any pics.

I saw one in orange at OR and looked at it from all angles. I can’t say it is as ugly as the pics suggest as the colour does seem to hide the angled edges somewhat, but it did nothing for me in terms of being a potentially alluring ‘upgrade’ to the M2C in my garage.

I do like the new interior a lot, but it isn’t enough to forgive the more obvious new flaws - including the weight gain on an already somewhat porky predecessor.

I’m sure the new car smell and smooth powertrain are great though.

I think you guys are too critical IMO.
the M2 is a great design, beefy setup and a great motor, im sure it handles like a machine too.
Set up a set of spacers for the wheels, and the wheels give a bit more road presence, but the whole car as a whole is beautiful.

You need to look at that M6 in your garage to remind yourself what beautiful actually means :p

The guy was last seen on the 20th of August according to his profile. He’s doing the right thing and rather putting miles on his M.

I’ve seen a few M2s in person now. I definitely like them.

Now after having praised the looks of the F90 I’m a bit sad about what the new M5 may look like after seeing the new 5er 😅
