Good day All,

The wives 1.2TDI VW Polo has an EGR Valve stuck error, I am looking for someone that can assist me to remove the EGR unit and code it out as well.
And while doing this I was thinking about removing the DPF and then doing a light tune on it as well.

Can someone suggest a reliable contact that knows what they are doing? I was in contact with a previous BMWFanatic member but unfortunately he can't assist me anymore.

If the contact can also work his magic on BMW's it would be great as I would like to do my E90 320D as well.

Which area you in? That will help in directing you to someone.
I had one of those bluemotions. Do a dpf and egr delete one time before doing software and then the best mod I ever did on mine was to get rid of it.

My apologies I forgot to mention the area.

I am based in Middelburg, Mpumalanga so I was thinking in the JHB or PTA area.

The wife loves it to much, I nudged her a few times for us to get rid of it.
She loves the fuel efficiency of it on the open roads and the compact size in the towns.

Its a 2015 model with just under 120k km's on it and she owned it from new so we know the history and haven't had any issues with it, except the two issues 1. clogging dpf filter due to her driving style 🦄 and 2. the EGR valve being stuck.

I used Unique Motorsport in Pretoria, I also asked Clement to do a Carbon flush on it as well. Make sure to do both egr and dpf at the same time as you will need to do coding anyway.

Glad your wife's one is till serving you well. Mine had endless issues. Traded it in and got what I paid for it. A year later saw it back at the dealership. They took it back from seller and send it to the Auto breakers.

My dad also have one, also a 2015 model and he has close too 400k km's on it and he also haven't had any major issues with it.
Both were bought more or less the same time, must have been a good production run VW had then.

Its refreshing to hear such good stories about these Bluemotions. They aren't VW's best design and as such have a bad reputation.
Glad to hear its serving you guys so well.
