technical Bmw e39 cluster pixels and radio not working

Hi gents

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to help me solve the following two issues I picked up

1) some pixels on the cluster have disappeared, seems to be a common issue but hoping you guys know where I could take it to resolve.

2) my radio just stopped working. This occurred after jump starting the car. I have googled the this and picked up that it could be that car goes into a protective mode when the battery goes too low and needs to be coded or something or that the radio module in the boot needs replacement. I have attempted disconnecting the battery for a few hours and then reconnecting but nothing. I have checked the fuses in cubby and inside the boot closer to right wheel arch.

I have since gotten a new battery as well and the problem persists. My car now stays on a trickle charger to avoid killing the new battery but still need to get the radio working

Any leads on where I can take it to. I am based in JHB.

PM me, I know someone who does it, but you need to provide him the replacement ribbon & LCD to repair it. I imported from Germany
