Hey guys I have heard murmurs that the color oxford green is not all that desirable, is this really the case? Also what colors tend to be the most desirable? TIA

It's very rare on an m5, not too rare on a normal 5er but not common either. Personally I love oxford green and would love to have an m5 or 540 in it but that's me, afaik it's not undesireable but other colours, especially individual colours, are preffered.

Wondered the same thing, I personally love the Oxford green on my E39 M5 - extremely rare on them and was an individual paint option on the M5.

As time goes by the rarer colours become naturally more desirable. Individual paint options won't suit everyone but I think rarity helps.

In terms oxford green - personally I *love* blue and green cars. It'd be close to the top of the list if I ever looked and had unlimited time and money to get an E46M3 in that colour.

This reminds me of the E39 528i my dad had back in the day, Oxford green with beige interior.

This is the ultimate spec of E39 for me. Prefacelift M5 in this colour combo

That’s my spec and I love it. Just have the caramel leather comfort seats and not the heritage per article.
