Silver 2000 MCoupe with red & black interior, 58000km and wrong wheels. I wasted my time and fuel driving 200km to look at this heap. Man, what a rough Mcoupe. Clearly in a bad accident, had paintwork on every panel and overspray on every rubber molding, glass edges, even the exhaust had overspray. Diff carrier clearly torn also ..battery box actually sagging at an odd angle with gaping gaps in the welds around the boot. All panels loose on the inside... fabric loose. Car is in such a sad state.

Seller is asking R350k... vehicle was at SMG "just getting an oil service." Over the phone he says selling for my cousin who's overseas, been parked for 10 years, needs a clean and drivers seat needs adjustment. It needs a crusher to put it out of its misery. That bad.

Seller still had the audacity to say "Which BM doesn't need work Boss?". Totally different attitude than over the phone. Chancers out there. No such thing as a luck,.. i should have known. But R350k is also not exactly chump change.

Had a bunny chow at Britannia which made up for the lowzy trip

Similar Experience ...

There was an E34 540i in Techno Violet in Durban that was for sale a few years back.
It was the rare 6 speed manual one.

Car looked FLAWLESS!!!!! and the guy was only asking 65k for it which made me suspicious as the car looked like its in showroom condition

I politely asked the guy for images of the under carriage so i know not to go if its rotted out.

Buyer responded, " boss, stop wasting my time." and blocked me. No picks received
That left me to assume it was a polished turd.

If someone refers to me as "Boss" in a conversation, I immediately switch off. I hate that. Will definitely not buy anything from you.
true.. my boet even said the same thing.

And here we sometimes question if our cars are actually as neat as we think... then you come across cars like this Mcoupe for sale and it makes you want to go home and hug your cars.
