New daily

Congrats, nice car and good choice as a daily.
Similar predicament at the moment and shopping around for a daily.
As you have said, the decision to spend a couple of hundred grand to buy a daily is based on individual need.
My budget is similar to yours, and in my ‘calculations’ a daily makes sense vs using my Supra everyday.
Fuel saving alone warrants the outlay, even though it would take a good few years to break even. However for me, it was more than just the escalating fuel cost, but also the crap roads that I use on my daily commute, and the lack of respect from other drivers.
And selling the Supra is not an option, love the car too much, so only alternative was a daily.
So my needs are more than if it makes sense budget wise, but considered other factors as well. Also it makes the use of the Supra the once or twice a week even more special.

Vicks, congrats on the buy bru. Another buddy of mine just bought a Swift as well, white with the gloss black bits and roof. He sold his one car through lockdown and with schools back and office trips, he had to buy a second car and went for the Swift. The value for money over the other options are pretty good, I drove about 20 of these on my out of town work stint and till today, I tell my wife I prefer this car over many others in is segment.
