I am not sure about best time to do it, but I recall him say around 100000km the DPF is already nice and dirty. So it's a good idea to do it before then for health and longevity reasonsAt what mileage is it best to add a DP and and do software?

He showed me a result of one of their clients with software and dp, approx. 230kw and 650nm.those engines are solid. Sw and dp and you’ll be operating
So what warranty is this that you still have and when does it end?He showed me a result of one of their clients with software and dp, approx. 230kw and 650nm.
2 year warranty (Expires 12/2023) with Motorite. So what warranty is this that you still have and when does it end?
Would have been a different story with just you driving and DP with software.
Don't forget to put the car into sport mode.
I had toImagine getting such a bad hiding that you went to go dyno your car to make sure its not broken.![]()
If I didn't have warranty on the car, I wouldn't be so cautious.

Another member suggested the same thing privately, I am really thinking about this option. You can also get a bolt on dp done and remove Cat that can be fitted back if for some reason you do have to claim.
Thanks Bud, Appreciate the advice, and am definitely considering itFor DP, the earlier the better bud. Software also beneficial in terms of switching EGR off etc.
Seriously considering this budIf I were you I would do either downpipe or rip the guts out and weld it closed again with software.
For both pulls, it was at operating temps.sold my 2014 330d at 200k km with software and decat and everything was still solid. If I were you I would do either downpipe or rip the guts out and weld it closed again with software.
Anyhow, was your engine warm at time of race? I found mine to be very sluggish if not at operating temp. I do have mechanical sympathy, normally...but did notice this. Its almost like a safety interlock to protect the car
it is certainly quite heavy now in comparison, I get 10l/100km urban driving lightly.Your car is very strong! I would definitely get a downpipe (your consumption will improve) especially with the mileage your car has done.
Thanks Bud, Will doAnd definitely take advantage of the free assessment at ZF on your gearbox, just to know where it is at.
Then downpipe and a remap, and enjoy the true potential of your car.
And you witnessed first hand the difference weight makes to a cars acceleration![]()
Hey bud.Mine is the f10 535d with twin turbos
This is wonderful and comforting. I'm hoping to have the same experience with mine. The car currently has 260 000kms on, not a single issue besides a boost pipe seal that perished
Aaaah that would transform your car into something else. When do you plan to do this?Next on my list is downpipe and then more aggressive map. Can't wait.
Will do so on the showroom thread, Once I have some goodies to post.Enjoy yours mate! (keep us posted)
Ps. F10 Feels like a tank when getting into my narrow garageThese N57 engines are bulletproof, built like tanks.
Thanks Bud.Hey dude, honestly you cannot expect your 530d to run near a Mini S or Fiesta ST...Those Fiesta STs run away from the M135is as well when they are remapped. Their power-to-weight advantage especially with your car being almost 1.9tons is quite a bit plus your adults and luggage. Don't be disappointed at all, your car was built to be a comfortable, no-nonsense cruiser...with DP and Software, it will become a torque monster for sure but it still has to lug that big body as well.
