Hi All,
It's that time of the year where many GP cars seen in Durban.
I am posting on behalf of a friend who is looking for a reliable and reputable BMW mechanic in Durban/Kloof area. He is often down in the area, originally being from there and visiting family, and will be there for the next 2-3 weeks before driving back to JHB.
He requires help with his pride and joy, a 2011 Z4 35is. He has spent a lot of time and money to have it mechanically sound.
To explain the current problem, the vehicle is occasionally shuddering under acceleration and the power cuts off. Once he switches off and restarts, it's back to normal but the problem repeats itself.
He also questions the long list of work carried out by the previous two workshops and would like to have it checked by someone who can vouch for their mechanic/s. Unfortunately I can't help him because I haven't personally taken any of my BMWs to a workshop other than BMW because they were under plan.
