technical 2016 F15 - Upgrading iDrive 5.0 to 6.0

Good Day members ,
looking for anyone local who can help with this ?

my 2016 F15 has the iDrive 5 system , i would like to upgrade it to the iDrive 6.
im told that some models have the upgraded unit so it only needs the software , i cannot find any helpful info online

I thought about that. But would much prefer the iDrive system.
