I managed to remove the adhesive from the underside of the spoiler over the weekend - some shots below taken midway through the process.

Step 1: Careful & systematic cutting with box cutter blade (Removed probably 90%+ [by mass])
Step 2: Wet sanding (100 >180 > 320 > 400 > 600 > 800)
Step 3: Goo Gone (Apply and remove several times)
Step 4: IPA wipe-down

There are a few spots which remain very stubborn and are somewhat 'low-lying'. But, I think I've done pretty well considering. Don't want to risk piercing the epoxy unnecessarily.

Good work bud!

Whats the plan with the bootlid? Getting it painted or leaving it as is since it will it be covered by the spoiler once you fit on?

Thanks man!

Definitely going with a respray - could never live with it knowing the mess underneath if I didn't.

Still sussing out potential body shops. Went around on Friday hunting for quotes and getting a feel for places.

As Murphy would have it, I'm lending out my second car to a friend after his car was written off recently. So I have a bit of a logistics/timing issue
