Any of our suppliers on here have a carbon or black E92 M3 DCT knob? I see there's plenty out there for F series.

I took the knob apart to get the leather replaced with Alcantara & want to change the silver part.  Replacing the shifter to a complete carbon piece was easy on my F86 X6m... on the E92 M3. Yohhh..stripped it buggered to expose the leather.

So this is where I've ended up. Won't be doing anymore other than maybe side skirt extensions and going to a 19inch wheel instead of the 20's.

Exterior: Gloss black accents, all OEM carbon painted gloss black, LED tail lights.

Engine wise: ESS non-intercooled supercharger kit with upgraded injectors and Snow Performance water/meth injection. Customer exhaust. Have never dynod, just runs smooth through to redline. DCT has a tune. Smoother in auto, aggressive blips on downshifts.

Interior: Custom Alcantara trim and steering wheel, BMW Performance seats, stock everything else.

Suspension, Wheels & Brakes: BC coilovers with EDC delete. Ispiri 20inch 9.5 / 10.5j, Stock brakes with upgraded pads. Yellow calipers.

Nice one bro!
Love the interior Alcantara, those seats are really stunning.
Would you say the Supercharger is worth it? In terms of cost vs power vs drivability.

I've had a stock V8 M3... The supercharger takes the car to where the chassis setup actually makes sense. Power and feel is just right. Driveability is 100% like a stock car...no funny hiccups or fueling issues or anything. Guys at ESS where helpful getting me better injectors and a new tune... Just plug the cable in and upload. Cost wise... Considering what you get out... I'd say absolute good value. Even maintenance of the supercharger is a breeze. Accessing plugs for servicing requires no additional stripping. Plenum pops off easily of you needed to get under there (I need to replace the BOV pipe not long ago, did it myself with basic tools).

To also put you in perspective, my bro had an RGM supercharged M3 and that car constantly threw fault codes randomly after hard pulls. Also battled with the clutch. My brother owned the car briefly.... It became too annoying to drive with the issues. And taking the intake plenum off on the RGM car was a nightmare.

I don't ever see the engine light on my lesser boosted car that I can drive hard all the time.

I ask cos i have contemplated the ESS kit. But then thought about it and worried that the cost will not warrant the power and feel. Will see... Not anytime soon, but soon!

Do it... You'll have a different car afterwards in terms of power. And everything else about the E92 chassis will then make sense.

Must do the GTS software flash on the DCT box.. its a nice little upgrade... but very nice car you have.
I have this. I agree... It really smoothens out the box... seamless like shifts in auto mode. And nice & aggressive / quick shifts in manual mode.

Damn, this car looks lovely. Interior is on point!
What exhaust do you have on it ?
Switching between 2 setups now and then. Schnitzer and another custom exhaust that sounds better than the Schnitzer i feel ..because its louder and more aggressive. De-catted on both.
