Major forum maintenance 1st Month of 2021

Hi BMWFanatics!

Want to give you a heads up that there will be major maintenance planned for this website/forums in the 1st week month of 2021.

What to expect

• The website will go down for up to 24 hours if not 48 hours
• When the website is back up, it will be on a new server and new platform
• We will do our absolute best to retain content
• There will be a few issues when the forums/website is back up but we will fix each and everyone as we go along

Last but not least, I believe it will come back better and that 98% people will love it and 1% will say the current site is better and just below 1% will say the website from 2019 was the best

I know this is a bit of short notice with fanatics on holiday and so on but it should give you time to backup anything you think is important.

Looking forward.tp this new upgrade. I'm sure even the 1% percenters will approve of those new changes when it up and running nicely.

Personal take, I can't wait for the new platform. I am sure everyone will like it, but I also know there are always exceptions.

Hi everyone,

just an update. It looks like it may still happen this month instead of the 1st week of the year. Waiting on 1 or 2 requirements before this is ready for roll out.
