Went for the skidpan and collision avoidance driving course this Monday, was loads of fun got there an saw m135's all over the place :=):
Before we could proceed to the skidpan there was an instructor drifiting a E63 amg all over the place it was Amazing!!!! Still love the M cars more :biglol:
I enjoyed it and towards the end we had to drift the car around some cones with dsc off completely, and boy so many people spun out, I myself spun out twice I was getting the hang of it but then time was up. Now I am itching to do it again and again and again until I can drift like Chris Harris !!! Any one know if there is another course dedicated to drifting only ?
I asked the instructor if the M135's we were using had lsd's ? With a very emotional reply he said " No bmw are clever if they put a LSD in that car it would klap the M cars lol" :roflol:
I have new found respect for my car, too many people are quick to jump and say bmw cars are unstable when cornering and usually get wrapped around trees but in reality these cars are safe as long as you all the driving aids on.... When I span out with the m135i i noticed it caught brakes by itself and the car switched off for safety reasons obviously in a stressful situation one will tend to panic and press the accelerator instead of the brake.
Now I have a hunger to master my car it is a beast in its own right. Respect and understand your cars guys!!!!
Best part of the day was getting to drive my beast home with a smile knowing what its capable of.
