Zeemax charges R2710 for a m50 manifold fitment with my own mani inlcuded!?

has anyone else had a m50 manifold fitted by them and how much have they charged u? i heard they only charge 3 hours labour, but i could be under correction...

that sounds a about double what i thought they charged to do it. At that price, its cheaper to import the cast aluminium fitment kit and DIY it.

the thing is Zeemax has already fitted the manifold, im just not happy with the price...

thats a hard one... because obviously they need to charge for what their time is worth... sure it was probably not worth it for you to get this job done there, but what other work could they have done in the same time?

guess you could ask them about it and see what they say...

yeah ill talk to them 2moro and see what they say... i just hope they lower the price a bit coz i was basicly expecting half of that..

I had an entire V8 BMW engine removed and refitted for that money elswhere.

It's a little on the high side if it's just labour, but it all depends if they used any new gaskets and parts or not as that could bump the price.

Put it into perspective to get a better idea of exactly what was done.

i supplied the manifold, the vacuum hose and connector and even the t piece, all that was still needed was some hose and some gaskets, but ill talk to them 2moro and see what exactly they charged me for

its R400/hour included, they charged me for 5 hours and the other R700 was for the gaskets and hose and some other stuff

R400 per hour - first word to come up = stealers !!
Had e36 328i oil service done last week at Kaz in East London - R280 + vat for labour . ( Oil changed , lights etc checked , checked and found oil in spark plug recesses ) .
At R2700 I might offer a Saturday up and swap manifolds from 325i and 328i - If 328i fits 325i .

I took a Merc benz sprinter to MB commercial the other day

1900 to change the oil, excluding the frikken oil and filter. the oil is another R1,000...

Its a glorified vito 4 5 6.....

Even the PABX guy which is a snot nose just out of matric is like 650 an hour... WTF....

I had my M50 intake also fitted with them a while back but I cannot say how much .. it was a long process though!! Time for labour seems about right hey!!
