Z4 coupe e86 window motor cable

Hi gang,

First post so hi to all!

I have a loose window motor cable in my drivers side door. I heard from some guys that there are people who can simply replace the cable as opposed to the whole assembly but the gentleman in question is apparently no longer with us.

Does anyone perhaps have a lead for such a thing?
