Note the fastest normally aspirated M5's are below the Dinan S3 supercharged E39's at 11.930 & 11.979.

I believe 11.91I @ 199.87km/h & backed up with a 12.0 is the fastest time for a normally aspirated BMW E60 M5 on planet earth. We have done a lot of work since the last meet & have come up with some innovative ideas to make the car run, & it all seems to be coming together rather nicely now.

This really is a very quick 1/4 mile time for a NA M5. Elapsed speed at 125mph is extremely fast compared to cars in the table. Have you managed to repeat these sub-12 second runs?
What sort of power and torque was the car developing on the day? Were you running on Sunoco 104/109 octane fuel or one of the octane boosters at the time?
What sort of tyres did you have on the car as I really don't see it being this quick on OE street rubber.

The 11.9 was backed up with a few 12.0's. The car was making over 500hp on the wheels in the state it ran that time. The fuel was BP 98RON. It was running on MT ET Street radials. The front seats were also replaced with racing seats to save a bit of weight. Everything else in the car was in.
