324.8hp = 242kw on the wheels.

No software as can be seen by the car only revving to 8000rpm.

Stock M3's make between 280-290hp on this dyno. Here's the power when I did have the stage 2 remap & exhaust, before I got the latest anti-tuning firmware.

338hp = 252kw on wheels. The remap makes a decent difference in power, especially up top as we trim the fuelling (gets rich with full xhaust), add some advance at high rpm, & do the VANOS tuning. Also you can clearly see the chipped car revs higher.

Sherwin some questions:
Roughly a 35Hp gain on a full Xcede exhaust?
Is this fully kittyless with X pipe?

Those are good gains

Yeah it's a fully catless X-pipe & rear backboxes, all custom built.

At WRC on the same day the car made 232kw. There have been 3 cars dyno'd with full Akaprovich on the same dyno. They made between 214 & 216kw on the wheels. The lesson to be learnt is that overseas exhausts costing over R50K might not necessarily better than a locally made custom exhaust with a diameter tuned to get best results for our altitude, fuel, etc.

Working on the anti-tuning next week, hope to get to 245kw at WRC & 255kw (342hp) at KAR.

I hate this anti-tuning shit :nonono: Hopefully BMW doesn't load it onto my car.

anti tuning has already been defeated ash!!

Yeah we do all the 135/335's with anti-tuning & we did a whole heap of V8 M3's with anti-tuning as well. I'm talking a brand new anti-tuning firmware released in the last month. quite a bitch. But I'm almost done with it. have it on my own car so we can do the R&D on my car so customers get peace of mind when we lick it.

Ok good, only as matter of time. I am writing a file to my car today & might dyno this afternoon if I get time. So we also locked and loaded, ready to rumble with anti-tuning.

I love my akra exhaust:rollsmile:

How much lighter is it? compared to the stock system. Would you also know the wall thickness of the tubing?

Is about 20+ kg weight saving, not that I will feel the difference haha, but at least is approved by BMW now:thumbs:

The Akra is a gem , however isn't it a bit too quite for a after-market exhaust? Personally i'll have the high flow cats removed to release some extra ponies, think BMW will notice or mind if found?

Akra is on the quiet side, but it will roar and rumble if needs to be!

On the NA, I don't think removal of the cats will be a huge difference, maybe on the SC tho...

Wrong. The biggest gains you get on the V8 M3 is from removing the primary and secondary cats.

I lost 11whp on my car after decat but before run was done 1year apart but still same dyno and 11whp is a lot of pwr. Did anyone do a before and after on the same day?

I did on my M3. Good gains were there from just the decat software adds the final touch
