XBOX One S vs XBOX One X

Quite a few deals for the Xbox one S around @ R4k, 500GB and FIFA or Forza 7
Really want to reach out and get it but concerned that XBOX One X is going to be way better.
What's your views? Any closer reviews regarding noticeable visual enhancement or speed?

I purchased the Xbox One S a few months back & im loving it. It was primarily purchased as a 4K Blu-ray player for my Samsung SUHD TV, however I’ve enjoyed gaming on the system as well. I had a look at the specs of the Xbox One X & unless u have a HDR 4K compatible display you are never going to use the full functionality of the system. The upscalling of the S is near perfect
IMHO & I can’t justify the price tag of the X. I personally think the S is still a solid system & u won’t go wrong. Also the white finish is sexy & it matches my surround sound system which adds to the appeal :roflol:

R7500 for the X model isn’t that bad IMO.
I bought the Xbox One the day it was initially launched in SA for the same price, including second controller. Depends how serious you are on having the more powerful hardware. If I was buying again now, I would wait for the X to be released and then I wouldn’t worry about upgrading again for couple years into the next Xbox model.

xb one x is a med power console and sure worth the price tag...but as sum1 said above if u dont have the 4k HDR TV set ur not gonna see the full potential of the console

One X should work well for the new titles, they will also rework some titles for the platform for the added HDR and 4k support. 12GB video memory is decent..

I got a One S recently but am not such an avid gamer to upgrade just yet.. Most titles will run on the One S..

But the R7.5k price tag is decent too... I'd rather pay that than upgrade my Gaming PC.. Both are gathering dust sadly enough :blueCry:

Xbox X is worth the money considering the power under the hood . I bought the Ps4 Pro instead of the PS4( my cousin has the basic PS4) & you can see the difference on the visuals & framerate , also in 4K looks good.
