I wonder why microsoft is limiting the console so much

It looks like they are moving their whole market to accommodate only the wealthy. And they will lose a massive fan base because of this. :nonono:

Seems like they want to control everything, surely they made huge losses on xbox360 with all the chipped and games:fencelook:

Sure, that is a good point. The 360 sold over 77 million units because it accommodated a much bigger market (the average gamer that does not care about playing online) I can't imagine that the Xbox one will reach that number :fencelook:

Well not sure about that, but I have seen quite a few people wanted to trade in their chipped 1 for an unchipped 1 so they can play online... but then again, that's in the states...

Mybe MS is working with the US government:roflol:

:biglol: That sounds about right. Especially with the fact that the knect has to be connected at all times. So then they can watch you... :fencelook:

Same here, I'm not going to bother.
I initially bought the XBOX360 as a media device to watch movies, and it also played games. Since then I have gotten a little into the console gaming thing but not enough to warrant buying a new one.
Real gamers play on a PC anyway.. #runs away

DRM can suck my balls. Microsoft you idiots. Did you not learn from Ubisoft... their DRM didn't work.

Idiots.

And this exclusivity bullshit needs to stop.

What happened to the days when development teams made games for the love of the game, not for the love of big cash payouts from mega corporations.

PC all the way.

But PC also has DRM, unless you're talking about playing cracked games on PC, in which case it's easy to understand why devs focus on consoles.

Yes you are correct in saying "some" games on PC are DRM. But you forget, on PC you have Steam, and STEAM works...

Also, on PC, you do not pay for your LIVE subscription or whatever horse dung bollocks name they want to call their online playing network.

Xbox One needs 100% internet to work, without internet, you cannot play... NO GAMES. Not even single player. Also, apparently games will be download only. Now thats a royal spiked pole up our asses.

That is horse shit.

Ubisoft tried the DRM route on PC where you had to be connected 24/7 to play Assassins Creed 2 brotherhood. That backfired so fast and caused gamers to rather pirate the game to play it hassle free. I owned the game but ended up playing a cracked version as it never logged off the second Telkom decided to reset my internet router.

This nonsense of being connected 24/7 to the Microsoft Server and adding all this other online crap just seems to take away what these consoles where designed for. Simple, Ease of Access Gaming. Now its like you need to wait for Nasa to give you launch codes to allow you to install a game on these new consoles. Ridiculous. Especially for the South African Market with our shitty Internet speeds and prices.

We going to miss out on some really great games here cause they are "exclusive" to Xbox one. A pity.
