Xbox 360 AC adapter

Hi guys
I am looking for the AC adapter for a 250 gig Xbox 360 console. My current adapter seems to be stuffed as the light stays red and console wont turn on, I borrowed a neighbours and its working fine. I cant seem to find it locally in Newcastle. The people where I bought the console told me that its about R700 if I order from Microsoft. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I would say check the psu ratings and look around in an electronics store for something that matchs the specs.

Not yet man, I am still looking for the cable. Its for the 250gig Elite. Am currently using a friend's whose console broke.

Oh yes that is for the Xbox slim. I was under the impression you were referring to the phat xbox elite.
