X5 Steering rack

Damn, got a quote from BMW, my steering rack is no good, thus pulling the front right suspension badly... not sure how !!

so a quick question, the E60 steering rack, will it go in the X5 ?
i see pics and they are the same, not sure about the size.

Please help

or does anyone have a X5 (e70) steering rack somewhere that he can "donate" to a brother ??

Hi, what is your location/where do you live. My brother had his old X5 steering rack refurbished at a place in Cape Town and I bought and drove the car for about 2 years afterwards. Had no problems at all. If you are close by I can try and get the name, etc., of the company, or accompany you there!

Ohhh, just got a response, the Electronic one from e70 are not repairable.
