Xcede Performance Center

We do this all the time on V8Ms.

Xcede Software and Xpipe is good for quiet a decent increase in HP.

Sherwin is the brains behind the operation of Xcede has owned two of these Mpowers , current one being Supercharged , needless to say the research has already been done and perfected.

You have PM on pricing.

Why only x-pipe? Go the whole mile and do a full exhaust.

Trust Shaun, Xcede knows their stuff. I've got first hand experience

I paid R1000 ish (might have been R950) at Powerflow. But I already had a full decat system in from PowerFlow and just added the X-pipe later. You won't be disappointed with the power!!!

patching together and exhaust is not the way to go... it takes loads of testing to get right...

just fitting an Xpipe will not improve anything you have to look at the exhaust as a whole...

even the X pipe is complicated as the way they intersect changes how they perform completely...

Get an X pipe that has been proven to work on your car or you will most lightly be wasting money...

you also need the exhaust put together with minimal and clean welds. good bends are also a must... the factory exhaust is pretty good this means you cant just change things and expect a gain it needs to be well thought out and executed or all you get is more noise...

Um not true. I had a Xcede Xpipe on my Ex E90 M3 and the gains from the xpipe alone were very good. Software adds a little extra.

I had the stock backbox

my point is not that an X pipe will not add power... it is that just by adding a random X pipe you will not unnecessary gain power...

I would bet Xcede did alot of testing before they found what works best which is why i said:

Moranor, you have a gift man, how did you know?

Our X-pipe was designed on my previous E90 M3 & I think we did 11 versions. Each version we dyno'd & compared. The diameter, the angle of the X, where you cross over the banks, & a whole heap of other variables makes a big difference. If you do it wrong you get a huge hole in the torque at low rpm.
