Hi guys,

Buddy of mine has the above mentioned car ad is looking to replace shocks, the car is out of motorplan.

He got a price of R8000 a set from Supa Quik. Does anyone know of any other place that will give a better price perhaps?

Please let me know,

thanks,
Ash

Hi bud,

that price sounds awesome! 8 week wait is a killer though, am I correct in saying BMW stuff is also some OEM parts?

Sachs is one of BMWs OEM suppliers so they benefit from development work with BMW :)

nothing available from koni for this yet

we can do air freight but it will push up the cost by approximately R 2k

I would say look at importing but the duty on shocks is insane and would negate any kind of saving.

Does anyone knows when shocks need to be replaced on an X5. I have a 2009, 3.0d sport model with 95000kms.
