Window tinting recommendations - JHB area

Taking delivery of car next week ! According to bmw ....

Trying to arrange :

All round tinting - 35%

Paint protection film - partial bonnet , front bumper , front fenders , headlamps.

Current quotes :

Klingshield
150micron - tinting - R1750 incl
Paint protection - full front section - R7980 incl


Auto fusion
Suntek 150micron tinting - R1250 incl
Paint protection - R4900 incl

Securfit - glasfit
100micron tinting - R1650incl
Paint protection - R2793

Try El-Guard in Selby.
Used them recently to fi 35% Llumar tint on my car.
After a week a bubble came up, took it back to them and they replaced the tint without even asking me for my slip/guarantee.

Speak to Reinhart at Auto Image in Alberton, not to far from JHB he did my window tinting and VPS front 1/3 of my bonnet, doesn't have the joins etc like most do he tries to use whole pieces and tucks into body panels some cut it before bends and curves etc and you see the lines.

I'm very finicky with my cars and he did a great job, did it in July and today took it to him for a buff and to re do my front spoiler that my wife scratched but VPS saved.

Hi guys

Need to tint my windows asap, who do you guys recommend in fourways area. I see mention of eco glass in this thread which, location wise is ideal. Any experience with them?

what is the ball park figure i'm looking at for a 35% tint?

Dude as mentioned, I did my 330d with Marco (eco glass), no complaints. You looking at R1350. I also did 35% S&G.

Dude as mentioned, I did my 330d with Marco (eco glass), no complaints. You looking at R1350. I also did 35% S&G.

Thanks i'll give them a try, already got quotes yesterday, do i do 100 mircom or 150?

Hi,

Are there any other recommendations of vehicle tint installers in the Midrand/Fourways/Randburg area, Marc from Eco Glass no longer does cars.
