Wider front tyres for my 135i?

Hey guys, I need to replace the front tyres on my 135 and I'm struggling to find the stock 215/40/18 size. Would there be any issue with Motorplan if I went with the bigger 225/40/18 size? I've just bought the car and the rears are pretty new, Pirelli P Zero Runflats also in the bigger 255/35/18 size, so figure I should match them. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

You wont have a problem with MP for the size that fits on the rim. The tyre must still be RunFlats though, if you put normal tires on you will loose MP.

My 18's is 7,5J and 8J. The 7,5J can take either 205, 215 or 225. The 8J is 225 or 245. I've put 225 on all four, so that I can at least rotate the tires.

I struggled to find tyres for my 120i as the fronts and rears were different sizes.
Eventually i put all the same size 225/40/17

The tyre profile will be slightly higher though

Just for the record,I changed to normal tyres on a few cars while still on motorplan and had no issues with any of the dealers..

Yeah, don't have much of a choice as the stock size is almost impossible to find.

Been thinking about this but have pretty new runflats on the rear so don't want to start mixing the 2 types...

Yes you can. They run promotions at times on tyres so one should just check

I also called customer care.

As long as the tyres are the same size and have the same speed rating you can change to normal tyres without compromising motorplan.
