Repair/respray/redye seats.

What would you be willing to pay for a set of 4 seats to be refinished by someone who is serious about his work and quality?

I know there are already many of these services out there, but not many at all are prepared to remove the seats from the car and dismantle them completely to do the job properly. I see many refinished seats with overspray all over the fittings.

I have managed to source the correct dyes for refinishing automotive leather.

Well I usually drive up to PTA to visit the family & while im there get my seats fixed.
Redye was R950.00
To replace all leather with new genuine leather, seats, sun visors & the door stuff (oh this is on a e36) is R3000

Please tell me where they get the leather, the leather alone cost me R2700 for two front seats here in Cape Town.

The service I am offering includes repairing any seat stuffing/foam if it has gone soft anywhere.

I would be interested but only for the front seats... especially my driver seat because of the damage... how much are you offering?

My thoughts with forum members being all over the country what if you worked on a deposit/exchange system ? Yes This system is not perfect , you need seat covers to fix/dye and have one set in stock to begin with , the owner then has to remove his covers and fit new ones then send you his old ones . Using courier to transport whole seats is expensive . Franchise... no way unless you clone yourself .
Thanks

I hear you and it's a good idea, but need to run a pilot project locally first to iron out any issues.

The focus would be on quality at a reasonable price rather than quantity.

Some services in South Africa in general have no clue as to what real quality work is.

I will post some before/after pictures by monday, have a batch of products here to experiment with this weekend.

I have no idea man, I can always get the number but then you will have to sweet talk the dude & whatever & what not to get the info from him :)

after seeing your work, I would (if money allowed) drive my car down there & leave it with you for a month or so and get it recovered, Seats, dash, doors, redo headliner everything :)

Good luck
