:cry:I bought a 320d 2001 model facelift in 2010 december, now it has a reading of 250,000 km on the clock. i have a whistle sound on my exhaust and a clucking sound on my front right wheel when i turn. I have no clue what is going on. It just wwent for service but i have fear that my turbo is packing. ANY ADVICE?

ps i am new to the world of BMW.

Welcome to the forum and to BMW.

The lower control arms need to be replaced at 100k km or so intervals, so have that tended too asap. If you can get the car on a lift/ramp and swing a spanner, it's an easy DIY.

If the turbo has never been done, then you might be in for a replacement or just a refurbishment. Have someone just overall the turbo and you should be good to go.

I replaced both control arms last year including links and bushes so thats why I am surprised. I will have the turbo checked out. any idea how much it might cost to refurbish or replace it? at least estimates?
