I'm with Smooth on this one...

First console was a ZX spectrum, can't remember the one after that, then went to pc games and with the xbox360 back to console.

1st 1 I remember was a Golden China. Always despised the kids with Sega cause they were "cool"
Then my parents bought us this console from Singapore with wireless controls. This, in the 90s, meant it was the shit!!!!!

Mine as well!

Games where Super Mario Bros, Tetris, Contra, Bubble Bubble, Shinobi, Double Dragon to name a few then came the 50 in 1, 100 in 1 etc cartridges, and those kept the family occupied forever, lol

Mine was an 8 bit- First game was soccer and Mario bros.

Funny thing with these were- if the game didnt work you would pull out the cartridge and blow on the circuit board (not in a sexual way) and it would work.

Then I moved on to the 16 bit console, then 32 bit etc etc.

Only one i did not buy was a PS1- Was in college days and swak.
went on to PS2 and now PS3.

Sorry im not a major Xbox fan- Altho Forza is a really freakn awesome game.

We also had golden china....was fun, even having a turbo button!

Enjoyed the likes of Contra(my favourite - finished it over and over and the weapons were the best...)

There was that other game, Island boy...paper boy, the adams family o and the list is endless...

Gradually progressed to PS1,then 2 and straight to Xbox 360...hooked on the latter...!

I recall playing Tekken - I had a Tekken(could be 6 - right after Tag) it featured all the Tekkens, from one all the way to six...I tried Tekken one, the characters still had blocks for hands, and virtually no visual effects...I cant even get myself to play old school games, wont touch a PS1 or 2 in a while....

Ahhhh.....memories...something our kids will never relate to! They will be like...a cartridge....are you serious...?:yuck: We can get it on CD, or just download it...30secs later....see...downloaded the latest Forza 50! HAHAHAHAHAA!

I also remember that my Super Mario went on and on and on... Never got to the part where the princess was in another castle, it had endless levels it seemed

And my adapter would get very very hot and it would start smelling

I have no idea what it was called. Was a big heavy box with a keyboard on it and took these massive slots for games. If you wanted to play pacman you could plug in the joystick
