If your 2002 was in A4S spec (170bhp) it would out sprint a 333i from 0-100 and around a track as the 2002 is lighter and not much less power and no nose heavy under steer that the 333i was famous for.
The 2002 alpina A4S was about 300 kg lighter with 24bhp less. But it would also need the alpina suspension treatment to to do its work on the track.
