Thanks guys!
Are there any problems fitting an 18 inch wheel to a car that came with 16s? Will it fit? Cause errors on my speedometer ? Etc ? Do bigger wheels cause higher fuel consumption? Will the wheel be to big for the wheel arches? Will it touch the sides?

I know nothing about wheels sorry.

Thanks guys! Yup that's where iv seen them, just curious about all this as I don't think my door card for tyre pressures etc mention an 18 inch wheel. Any idea of what they cost new?

No I don't have these rims, I have the standard ones as per my picture , I may want to buy a set, but I don't know anyone selling a set so wondering what they would cost new.

Gumtree link is the style 225M, totally different to the 18" in question

So I asked bmw for a quote and suffice to say the amount was probably the trade in value of my car lol over R46000 for a set, ended up finding an almost new set of rims of the same type that I have on my car with the centre caps. I paid R1500 for the set. It has some small scratches but is in really good condition overall, think it was only used for about 30 000 kms. I may have them refurbished, it don't think it would pay as much as repairing buckled rims but I'm a little afraid of the paint used and the color matching original.

Reason I needed new rims was , tiger wheel and a few other tyre fitment places had told me all 4 of my current rims were buckled, I knew they were a little bucked for a few years but didn't expect it to have gotten that bad they quoted 1200 per rim to have repaired. They managed to balance it as best they could and I must admit, they did a good job as it's much better now but eventually I would have had to change or repair the rims anyway if fitting new Tyres.

Thanks for all the advice guys! Those rims are beautiful and iv always liked them. But God they are so pricy.

I'm happy with the original style though. So glad I could find a replacement set.

Gumtree.

Also, that 330i individual that was parted out in September had these. Legacy scooped them up for 4k with tyres.

Yuben the correct sizes is 225/40/18 and 255/35/18

My neighbour has these wheels. He said the OEM tyre size from brand new was 245/40/18 at the rear...

That was the first thing I checked to compare mine as I have 255/35/18 which touches.
