what was your first bike

soooo UPDATE:

i have since got my learners, finance has been approved just need to get the necessary paperwork out of the way before payment is made and i can collect the bike, so hopefully by next week :tiptoe:

The bike in question 2007 GSXR600, after reading all the advise on this thread and going to look/sit on a few bikes i have short listed bikes as follows (in order) :

1. GSXR600 - low enough for my height, looks awesome, comfy and quick
2. CBR600 - also comfy bike
3. ZX6R - didnt fancy the bike so much because of the aggressive riding position.
4. R6 - beautiful looking bike but found it abit to high for me.

I did buy a Bigboy GPR125 is ride to work and back just to get the confidence and adjust to being on two wheels instead of four (used full gear also).

I would go for the GSXR personally. They are very popular and in high demand in the second hand market ,so you will not have trouble selling it again.

It is also by far the best looking out of the bunch for me,with the R6 maybe rivaling the looks.
