What to Do?

Hi Guys

A bit of a rant to follow, but I would like your opinions. No names YET, as I am going to take this further :argh:

A few weeks ago I signed for my 330d and took delivery (2010 with 59k on the clock). There was an issue when I test drove the car (serious wobble on the steering wheel), but that was "sorted" before I took delivery. In hindsight, I should have walked away then. I was informed the passenger side shock top mount was damaged and was fixed.

A few days after taking delivery, I noticed a very subtle vibration throughout the whole car at 120 km/h, and the car was pulling to the left - I took it back and was told the lower control arm was bent. That was sorted. The car was fine for a day or so and the problem returned. I'm now told that the sub frame is bent, and the insinuation is that I damaged the car :bangdesk: There is no other damage apart from a small scrape under the bumper from my driveway. No bent rims, nada! Oh, and a new sub frame costs around R9k excluding labour!!!!!

I am now of the opinion that the car was accident damaged and this was somehow missed. There are no comments on the car at BMW, but that does not mean that the previous owner had a bit of a battle with a pavement - My insurance is doing a check for me as I write this.

Based on the fact that I picked the issue up at test drive, I am going in to cancel the deal and insist on a replacement vehicle, under CPA!

Send a PM to Coisman on the forum and ask him to please do a quick check for you, to see if any accidents were recorded on the car's record
