what oil for manual box

Hi
I would like to do a oil change on my e39's manual 5sp. It has the yellow sticker. What oil should I get? from dealers or where/what else?

I'd also like to know as mine was last done 40 000km and 3 years ago. Also what do you guys think of teflon additives? My shifter can be notchy at times particularly when going into 2nd. Perhaps an oil change will sort that out?

Teflon does not work well suspended in oil, I read a lot of studies on it.

but there should be a sticker on the box that tells you what oil to use, since some of them require ATF...

In the case that it requires ATF, just get any ATF that meets or exceeds the Dextron spec, since it is a very stringent spec and all the oil with that spec should essentially be the same.
