Thanks freerider for coming out to check the error codes on my e46!

I have searched the forum but the format seems different on the code lists...So I just need help figuring out what they mean if anyone can help?

here they are in the order they appeared on freeriders code scanner:

16305
16914
16930

17808
17202

hmmm.. dificult. inpa gives such nice descriptions ,guess ive been spoilt.

16305 = 3fb1 hex
16914 = 4212 ''
16930 = 4222 "
17808 = 4590 "
17202 = 4332 "

looking here,under DDE5, DDE6 (which i am not sure is correct for your car!)

http://www.endtuning.com/bmwcodes.html#DDE4

i see "airflow meter - signal low"
and "railpressure not plausible" & " rail pressure activation valve- activation interrupted"

going strictly by these codes (which are NOT nescesarily correct!) its complaining about rail pressure, spesific the control solenoid.
the airflow meter part is easy to check, just unplug the afm and see if it runs better. if it does, afm is bust..
