What did the e82 LCi bring?

I've seen the cars.co.za review and it seems like we got the e82 LCI in 2012. I'm looking to pick up an e82 and I was wondering if I should specifically seek out an LCI? The new tail lights the LCI got are absolutely stunning but I can always just buy one of those and stick 'em onto a pre-facelift.

I've read on international forums that the LCI 120d got a revised N47 that fixed the timing chain issue, is this true for SA?

So my question is is there any reason to for an LCI specifically?

Also does anyone have an idea how much getting an infotainment into an e82 would cost? I really want a car with an infotainment but it seems to have been a pretty rare option

EDIT: Also what did the M-sport package add? I've noticed non-M sport don't have the grey diffusers, I'd like to spec an aftermarket diffuser so I'm assuming if I get a non M-sport I'll have to replace the entire bumper as opposed to an M-sport where I'd only replace the diffuser section

E82 lci had a few cosmetic differences

- Headlights design was more updated with the "eyebrow" that was added
- Tailights come in Black line option which looks fantastic
- Side rese view mirrors were changed as well

M SPORT bonnet and bunper remained the same as far as I know.

N47 engine was updated with the n47tu which apparently addressed the timing chain issue and had a slightly higher power output.

M Sport has a different steering wheel from the non M Sport as well as a black/dark grey roof lining and the aforementioned bumpers.

There are some pre LCI E82s with the update N47T engine as well, as the N47T was revised in 2009 if im not mistaken.
best is check the Vin and look for the N47T
