If you posted this under the x35 twin turbo section you would have had a few replies by now. Browse that section and you will find many options from chipping; exhaust; suspension; interior and exterior ideas.

My suggestion is, since its your first beemer and you just got it. Keep it as is. Enjoy it. Have fun. Next year if you still feel the itch then maybe go to town with the car.

Of course it is a different issue if you have been in the mod game for long, then i know nothing can stop that itch:wave:

You can also browse threads under my username... There are plenty options to make you excited:thumbsup:

I have a N55 135i and the first thing I did was put some rims on. You must bear in mind that our engines are still very new and modifications engine wise are still being developed in this country, I beleive that the current software after doing a lot of research from various companies is not fully developed as the 135i N54 engine whereby software upgrades are very advanced as the engine has been out for quite some time now. I would hold tight for a couple of months until software is better developed, thats my view for now.

Seems like BMW is starting a clampdown on all mods, so you have a good chance of loosing your motorplan if you do any mods. I know audi check the logs at each service, if boost was repeatedly more than designed for with no errors logged in SW or HW faults, your motorplan gets suspended pending further investigation...
