What a GREAT way to start a week!

So on my way to a client my oil light does not come on and I feel a lose in power and the car cuts out. I finally get it to a garage about 100km away from home and the car starts to make funny noise, So i check my oil and the car had almost nothing. After waiting 4 hours of a tow truk to come and get me I start the car at home again and the noise coming from the head is loud, I think my hydrolic lifters are poked!

Does anybody know how much this is going to set me back?

well if the motor is turning, it means you have not locked it, which is a good thing.

THere is no real way of telling until the motor is open, but perhaps a scrapyard motor complete out of a car that can be started up is not a bad move here...
