Killarney: Club Drags Practice & Street2Strip 9.30am till 8pm with Short Circuit Racing on the oval from 8am till 5pm – Saturday 9th July 2011

Admission: R30pp 12 years and older
This coming Saturday Killarney will be hosting an official practice session for the drag racing competitors from 9.30am till 1pm (entries 9am till 11.30am) followed by a Street2Strip event from 1.30pm till 8pm (entries 1pm till 4pm).

The official practice competitors need to hold current MSA competition licences to be able to practice, licences will be available at entries from R350. Entry fee for this session is R50 per competitor, this includes a complimentary ticket to get a crew member in for the day. Drag cars doing quicker than 13 second runs are not permitted at Street2Strip events for safety reasons so come catch them before lunch break on the day.

After a short lunch break the Street2Strip side of the event will start on the main straight, drivers for this event do not require licences however will be required to complete the documentation at the main gate and pass the vehicle safety check in Turn 5 by the start line. The fee to compete here is also a total of only R50, R30 ticket to get into the facility and another R20 admin fee to compete.

Various foods and refreshments are available on the facility or spectators are welcome to bring their own, skottle braais are welcome or use one of the various braai stands available on site. Be sure to catch some of the Short Circuit Racing action on the oval side of the circuit followed by some drifting practice from about 6pm till 8pm.

Hi twinz I am stuck on 13.7 and sound like a real drag dude with I got no traction lol. But not funny tho as I had my ass handed to me by a type R, other jb4 335s are doing sub 13, what I'm I doing wrong?

What map were you on? First & second gear Traction can be controlled by the JB.

I had map 1, 5 and 7- I just got him at shoot and told me bout the boost control, we also chatted bout down pipes , exciting times. Please post when u will be on track as would like to see your machine run, ps also always enjoy the tech posts- very good reads. Thanks for response as well

That's what they told me, and the Last thing my car needs is to loose more traction lol, I'm spin with traction on, and then it bogs like mad to try and make the spin stop! But aan hower wen, we should have a BMW street to strip? Dnt you guys think?or race day?
