Well it had to happen...

Hi guys,
So as some of you are aware, ive been searching for around 8months for a 335i. wasnt sure which one whether E90 or E92.

Saw a few E92's and decided thats what i wanted.
after searching, and being disappointed, a suggestion was given for Shak's car (Doc335i's old one), and i looked at it, but was a little stretch on my budget, so played it off.
after seeing a few others, i saw a white DCT with a lot more Mileage, but fewer features. i put in an offer, it looked good, but when i went to go see it, it had a leaking Tappet Cover, which they sent in to their mechanic for a new Gasket.
I decided to opt out of this one.

I had a look at Shak's DCT again... and again... and aaaaggaaaain....
eventually i decided what the hell, and put in an offer, and sent in a finance application, after some back and forth, and documents being submitted, i signed for it, and flew down this morning to Collect.

An boy was i not disappointed.
for those that dont know the car.

2009 335i Coupe DCT
all the extras that could possibly be on the car.

The car drove like a dream, exactly as Shaheev said she would, it was a bittersweet moment for him, as it was a case that he had to sell, not that he wanted to. but i assured him that she would be in good hands, and as some of the members here know me from the OPC Club, they know that i am too pedantic not to take care of her...
I left Durban on a half tank, and got to Harrismith with 65km on the range to spare, then left Harrismith with a full tank, and got to JHB with just over 3/4 still. managed a decent 8.2l/100km as an average, with the Instant Consumption being around 6l/100km on the straights, and about 10.5l/100km on the inclines some worse than others. i kept it at a Modest 120 - 130kph. and even used my Indicators :roflol:

Here are some pics for the meantime, but after a wash i will get more taken.

Im very happy with my decision, and have lots to learn, but i research well, so wont be bugging everyone too much :)

Look forward to meeting a few people on this journey.

Just want to Thank Shaheev, and Kish for their patience and assistance with the phone calls and the questions leading up to this purchase. really appreciate it immensely.
