hey im 22 , i drive a e30 318i m40 moter ... looking to do the e36 328i engine swop... can any1 advise me on what it all entails and how to go about doing it.. ur help would be appreciated :thumbsup:

I've read about a lot engine transplants and it's not as simple as you might think. Fitting the engine shouldn't be to much of a mission. Just remember that you'll have to replace the gearbox and diff. Your biggest issue will be getting the electronics and propshaft right.

A 328i motor in a E30 will go like hell :excited:, but it will cost you. If you take everything in consideration (Cost and Time), it really doesn't seem worth it on paper. So it's down to how badly you want it :thumbsup:
