Hehe first time I've come across a nice little welcome script such as this :)

So anyway, first time owner, long time admirer right? :p

Well I got myself a 2004 (registered '05) E46 320d, with individual pack. It's also got the "M" trim all round and is lowered a bit.

Will add some pics later or in the other forums.

Anyway, my first time owning one of these cars and must say I'm really loving it.
Still under Motorplan till the end of the year and don't think the cost of an extension is on the horizon for me.

So I play a bit of poker, guitar, get drunk, watch movies, play some games (PC) and that's me in a nutshell really.

So I'll be taking my time getting accustomed to the forums and look forward to gaining some knowledge and making a bunch of friends along the way.

Hey guys.

Just wanted some advice if I could drag it out of you all please :)
Wanting to get my hands on the stickers and wanted some opinions on which would be best, the larger or smaller.
Not seen pics of the smaller, but the bigger one to my liking seems a bit too big - not 100% sure.

So which size and colour would you all recommend I go for.
Otherwise I was thinking of getting both sets and checking them out first hand for myself.

Not the best pic I have of my car at the moment, still gonna take some shots at the beach but anyway :p

doesnt the extension cost like R5K for a year?

make friends with the okes at the dealer, and for 5K you can get inspection2, new brakes, clutch and suspension goodies, seems worth it to me :)

I got told stuff like R20k for 1 year or 10000kms and that to me did not make sense.
I've got the car for about 3 weeks now and got recently had it booked in and it came back with a new turbo, front discs and pads replaced, new oil seperator.

I would love to keep it in Motorplan, but at R20k a year .
Do I really need that kind of :whip:

You're quite right Don.

The bigger version does look better on the e46.
Thanks for the pics!

If you do have a set handy and if it would be ok for me to bring the donation with tomorrow evening, that'd be sweet!
Or I could still EFT if needed.

Welcome and nice car Noddy...
Tip, if your car is stock and you don't race and do funny things with it...:)....it will last through motorplan and without...But i would consider the mplan...for a 2004 model. Can't be R20.000 per year - per 100 000k yebo!. Can they work it into your monthly insurance??...I will PM you the bmw mplan qoute given to a buddy of mine 3 months ago, also for 2004 bmw model - his is worked into the monthly insurance over the 50 000 - 100 000km - I have no idea how they do it.

Lets discuss tomorrow at the canal walk meet.
