Hi guys
I've been looking for a BMW Club/Group for a while now, even thought of starting my own "make-shift" group.
I’m from the moderately sized Mosselbay and with our town flooded with people on holiday, I noticed a BMW Fanatics sticker on an E36 in Hartenbos!

My father and brother have been 3series drivers for many years so from an early age I was exposed to the "Ultimate Driving Machine" (so the add red on the back of our 88 325i) In matric I bought a 94 325i, my first Beemer, it had a rather ugly two-tone grey bumper look but it was great! It carried my friends and I on our matric holiday to Plettenberg Bay and everybody loved the car.

I then purchased my dad's 97 323i which at the time was in immaculate condition, Alaska blue with light tan leathers. I still drive this car, I try my best to care for the car every way possible. It has been weathered in our harsh climate but with a little TLC it manages turn a head or two. Mods include; Sonar Angel Projector Headlights, Clear Tail-lights, clear Repeaters, Thin-lip Boot Spoiler, E46 328i Five spoke Alloys, Dastek-Q System tuned on dyno, custom freeflow on stock manifold.

With money constraints as a student and rather high running costs, mods haven’t completely gone the direction I like, still I have allot of plans for my car and will never get rid of her. Let me know what you guys think?

welcome :) the e36 you saw belongs to Jandre, one of our mods here ;) I'm sure he will be pleased that someone took note of poor pofsie :) she will be getting some 17 inch wheels very soon i believe...

I'm glad to see that the mod bug doesnt just infect us bigger city slickers :) I also know that there are a few other members here that are from your bay ;)

Howzit Igna. Blue e36 in hartenbos was indeed mine. Glad to see the stickers on the cars work. Yeah old Pofsie did indeed run quite well and will be going for her 5000km oilchange tomorrow. The engine rebuild was pretty hectic. Glad to say my new rims are fitted, the car looks brilliant. Will post updated pics next week when i am back at the office. Anyway, welcome boet.
