Water sloshing noise from Dash

hi guys,

started my car this morning and noticed while standing still that there was a water sloshing noise that seemed to be coming from the dash. this was accompanied by a constant slow knocking noise.
NB the car was stationary.
it sounded like quite a lot of water being sloshed around.
over a minute or 2 the sloshing slowed but the knocking noise persisted.

i have recently had the engine thermostat replaced.

my car is a 2013 F10 520i

anyone have any ideas?

Did they bleed the water system properly when they replaced the thermostat.

See you have to have the fan on slow and the heater on highest when bleeding the car (with water), there might be air in the system. Put your heater on high and see if it blows hot air

This is why I just love dealers!!!! take it in for one thing and they say they have fixed it or cant find the issue and the next thing you have another issue!!!

There is an electronic procedure to bleed the system, take it back..

Aircon systems that need a top-up will sound like that. I would check that as well.

i suspect it's something to do with the cooling not being bled correctly.
anyway, i'm making it the dealers problem
