Warning Symbols

Does anyone have a list of the symbols displayed on the OBC and the meanings of them, ever so often i get a warning and i have no idea what it means... the owners manuel dont show anything....

This is for an E90...

Warning Symbols.

1. :wrongforum: = Wrong petrol used

2. :dropjaw: = WTF are you doing


3. :hammerhead: = Piston Problem

4. :shocked: = ABS not funtional

5. :shoesmiley: = Tire inflation incorrect (Flat tire)

6. :+1: = Just got overtaken by Ford ST

7. :locked: = Central locking not working.

8. :whip: = Engine overheating

9. :floggin: = Engine In Idle mode

10. :thinking: = Something is wrong, but not sure.

11. :banghead: = Car will not start for verious reasons.

12. :smileysex: = Service due at stealer.

13.:slap: = Vanos problem.

14. :jack: = Oil level low

15. :pfft: = Idle valve problem.

16. :censored: = Aircon not working

17. :facepalm: = should have gotten the M.



All I can think of now I am sure others here have acess to more fault codes. Hope it helps.

I managed to find out what the symbol meant! apparently if the temps are loew - you are warned to abt icy roads... :)

With some of the questions on this forum, I wonder if some people actually read that little book called the manual - the one with little pictures and some words - usually written in english. Strangely enough also corresponds to the car you drive :mmm:

I think it is when the outside temperature drops below 3 degrees C that you are usually warned, possibility of ice on the road.

Stangely enough even my '98 corsa has this feature, in a car otherwise devoid of features and extras.

For F##k sakes..... the manual doesnt show all the possible error codes... hence my post! if you have nothing constructive to add.... in all honesty... STFU
