warning light

Yea, I have the exact same problem. Took the light housing apart and the earth wire is slightly burnt. Apparently it's a common problem with the car.

On that note, when I turn my lights on the warning goes away :dunno:

+1 on all ground/earth wire.

There is also a small probability that it could be an old (working) bulb causing the problem too. As the bulbs age, their resistance increases and they appear to be detected as blown, even though they are working.

If the warning light is on one side only, swap all the bulbs over and then check what happens.

However, 90% chance that it is the ground wire.

I've been driving with that stupid light on for over a year now. My car's tail-light fittings do not have a lip to clip on an extra earth wire.
Guess I should just solder it on and see, or maybe try the light-bulb swop and see.
