Morning Guys

Please advise me if a light comes on the dashboard with a globe signal, which light bulb does it refer to. I checked all lights yesterday and all are working fine. Also how much does it cost to replace the bulbs?

Thanks

Check Angel eye Bulps ? lights .

Mine went in last week cost me 280 to replace and fit at Ross Duncan.

BMW charges you 500 plus for the same.

Vosomai i is on the forum and will give you good prices and delivers for you.

But put on all lights to see what bulp is defect. then you will know what to look for

Does the E90 have a 3rd brake light in the rear window? I'm assuming it does... That's an easy one to miss

E90 has 2 brake lights in each tail light. Second one only comes when you brake really hard. If you test brake lights under normal conditions it will work. I am guessing it is this.

Check the error code on your obd, it will read CC ID..... Post it here and I will tell you which bulb or just google the CC ID

nothing for Mahala

I have also noticed that the power on 1, 2 and a bit into 3 is very low compared to my mk2 gti. what can I do to improve this as once I am on the highway it runs like a beast.

My main concern about this car is that there is no spare wheel, I bought a can of tire weld but what if u get a complete blow out? any idea to elevate this problem.

Re the power. When was the car last serviced? Maybe your filters need changing. I find this helps plenty, especially with the dirty fuel we have here.

You can't compare a 3 series BMW with any GTI. The BMW is much much heavier. If more power is what you want, perhaps go for a software remap. It'll up the power plenty, decrease fuel consumption, plus make lots of fun smoke...

Re the spare wheel: you can get a space saver kit (comes with marie biscuit, jack, spanner etc all in a little bag), and then change to non run flats if you wish.

thanks for the info, I will look into the kit.
I got he code last night:
cc-id 87

CC id 87- Rear right tail light failure.

Check all the lights on the driver side tail light. If all seems to work then it is the 2nd brake light as I assumed. The two brake light bulbs are the ones closest to the bottom. The 2nd one that needs replacement is the one on the left closest to the numberplate.

The "strip" lights on the tail lights can be quite sneaky. Turn the lights one click to check.

You could also just pull the bulb holder out and check the bulbs visually. Would take 10seconds.
