Wanted - E36 M3 back springs

Im looking for E36 M3 back springs.
any one who has or know where i can get a pair let me know

Difficult to only get a set of rear springs...normally come as four......Have you thought about fitting Eibach springs

If i come a set of 4 i'll take it.
I have König 40mm x 40mm , but put the original back springs on due to tyre wear on the inside of the tyre. I assume m3 springs wont have that problem:dunno:

Full set of Eibachs including fitting and alignment is R2800 at Autoquip in Cape Town.

I enquired just last week.

Explain tyre wear :thinking: Cause you may need your alignment done and adjust the camber on the wheels :thumb: Unless of course the wear is due to the tyre actually rubbing against the springs in which case spacers may help.When I put on M3 springs I had the tracking done and tyre wear is even across the tyre :thumbsup:

tyre wear was on the inner wall of both back tyres. that was with the aftermarket koenig springs. had the alignment set many times, but it still had the same result. which is why I want to try original m3 springs, hopefully it would wear even.

I dont think the springs will help you, your camber is not been adjusted correctly, that is why your inners are being worn. Also check all your suspension bits, and shocks.

I had the wheel alignment/camber set probably about 3 different places.. maybe I do need to check the shocks. am I the only one with this problem?

coupe springs will fit saloons :thumbsup only ones which are different are the touring and cabriolets springs which are thicker and possibly have a different spring rate-you can still use them though

Although the camber has been adjusted, your rear wheels are probably still sitting slightly negative hence the Tyre wear on the inners. They probably cant adjust the camber more. Perhaps changing rear shocks might resolve this issue or your Koenig springs are shot, lost its tension and dropped by a couple mm more. Get a better make of springs or switch back to OEM or M3 springs.

Nope, your wheel has nothing to do with your camber. Its your springs or shocks. Could be suspension also, check that out.

get hold of East Rand Spring Works, they can make any spring for your car.
We took a Lumina there and told them how high, how stiff and they made springs for it and it works perfect,

No probs, one more thing..When getting the alignment done ask them to check the "Toe ends, make a note of this.
