VWCSA racing @ ODI 23 August

It's back this year! So let's burn some rubber!

Time to let loose some horsepower and crack some 1km top end runs! Let's not forget a few quarter mile heads up races!

We would like ALL participants and spectators to please bring any of the following or whatever you have, in aid of the local orphanages in the area:

Tinned food
Blankets
Old toys
Food hampers

These will be presented to ODI to donate on our behalf.


Price for the day per entry will be around R250 for club members and R350 for non club members (yes it's a little more than the normal entry fee, but the track is ours for the day)


Entries will be capped to allow for more time on the strip for everyone!


Strict queues will be maintained.

entries will be capped at 80, 1km runs in the morning (aiming at 2 runs per car) and 400m drags in the afternoon

all in all a great days racing, everyone got plenty of runs in and some well-deserved sunburn too

We also asked guys to bring along blankets and tinned food for ODI to donate to charities in the area for the kids and the elderly. At the end of the day there were 2 car loads full of toys, clothes, blankets and food. Big thanks to all that donated, you guys rock.
