Voice Command on i-drive

Whats up fanatics,


Does any one here use this function? i have tried with no luck to get this function to work on my pre face-lift e90. I press the voice command bottom and say a command nothing happens or is the bottom simply not working? :thumbdo:

No, i actually had never tried to use it before yesterday

At-least yours shows signs of life, on my car there is nothing indicating it works. Is there a specific way to switch it on?

on a F20 it makes a ping sound when you press the button, then the frustration kicks in..

it really doens not work very well. you can sortof dial a number, but it takes too long so i dont bother.

I use my voice commands on the 7 all the time, mainly to change CD's and stuff...

I do swear at her from time to time, but she never seems to get it.

BMW has really failed on this end, as it seems that on even on the newer models its the same issues :thumbdo:
