Vanity lights X5

Hello all

I noticed recently that the vanity lights - the ones by the sun visor don't come on when the slide is opened. I checked the bulbs and they don't seem to be burnt. This applies to both driver and passenger side lights. It's not a major thing as I don't look at myself in the mirror much especially when I'm driving but I'd like things to work the way they supposed to.

Regards

Sunny

Does any of the interior lights come on?
could be a fuse but stand to be corrected, based on experience with older model cars the fuse box usually has a label for interior lights(Non BMW) though

They normally come on when cars lights are on, this is based on my 850. I went through fuses and the like, still didnt work, till I put the headlights on and they went on.

The interior light do come on. They seem to work just fine. Perhaps you right, it could be the fuse as both vanity lights aren't coming on so guess that is a good place to start.

I tried putting the headlights on as well but the vanity lights still didn't come on. I'll be checking the fuses as soon as I get a chance.
